Friday 8:45-10:00 Session 1J Autoharp- Beginner

              New To The Autoharp?  We will touch on tuning and holding your harp. Mostly we will work on how to play chords and strumming so you can play along in a ja. Nothing fancy just the basics.

 

Friday 10:15-11:30 Session 2I Bowed Psaltery- All Levels

              Pachelbel’s Cannon in C on Bowed Psaltery. In case you missed this class last year, I have been asked to do it again. 8 parts ranging from Beginner to Advance. Put these all together and it is amazing. Can’t wait.

 

Friday 1:00-2:15 Session 3J Autoharp-Novice

              Basic Strums for the Autoharp. You will need a thumb pick and 2 0r 3 fingerpicks for this class to learn several practice skills to learn how to strum your autoharp.

             

Friday 4:15-5:30 Session 5J Autoharp-Novice

Listen for chord changes. First you must know what chord to play and when to play it. I will give you some suggestions for how to listen for those changes.

 

Saturday 8:45-10:100 Session 6J Autoharp-Intermediate

              Singing With Your Autoharp.  We will work on accompanying the voice. Play harmony to the voice. Create a rhythm to accompany the voice.


Saturday 10:15-11:30 Session 7J Autoharp- Intermediate

              Still just strumming the Autoharp? Advance/Intermediate  Let’s find some notes out of the chords and when to play them. Which fingers to use to create smooth playing styles.

 

Saturday 2:30-3:45 Session 9J Autoharp-All Levels

              Autoharp Song Swap- Let’s have an autoharp jam. Bring a song, teach a song, and share a song.
